Sadrist Trend official, Hazim al-Araji, said that a preparation for the Sadrist Trend peaceful parade, announced by Muqtada Sadr, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 26.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sadrist Trend official, Hazim al-Araji, said that a preparation for the Sadrist Trend peaceful parade, announced by Muqtada Sadr, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 26.

In a press conference held on Tuesday, May 24, Araji said that one month ago, Sadr announced that a religious peaceful non-military parade by the Sadrists will take place.

He added that the parade will take place in Sadr city, eastern Baghdad, on Thursday, May 26; it will start at 8:00 am with the participation of representatives from all provinces; they all will be dressed in a uniform outfit.

Araji added that approvals have been obtained from concerned authorities, including the Prime Minister's Office, political officials and security agencies.
